Signs of Hearing Loss |
Bilateral Mild to Moderate Sensorineural Hearing Loss
This audiogram shows a bilateral mild to moderate sensorineural hearing loss.
The hearing loss in the picture is also called a "Cookie-Bite" hearing loss. This kind of hearing loss has the worst hearing loss in the middle frequencies. Many children with hearing loss from birth (or congenital hearing loss) have this kind of hearing loss. A child with this much hearing loss will need to use hearing aids as well as assistive listening devices to hear what people are saying. |
